So, after I posted the first bday entry, Ron and Sen, my roomie, her dad, and I left to see Must Love Dogs. This was my bday movie choice. I thought, it’s John Cusack, he doesn’t do crap romantic comedies. But dammit! It just sucked. Cusack’s character was the best part, but it wasn’t enough to save it. Sirsy is just THE best independent band. EVER. I know I've written about them before (June 27, 2004), but this time it's just different.

On Thursday, March 31, 2005, I went to see Sirsy at The Whiskey Bar in Hoboken. I went in a little earlier and took these ( pics of the skyline )

I've been a fan of John Mayer's since "No Such Thing," although I can tell you with 100% certainty that I would've been a fan of his if I just found him through an independent route. He's incredibly talented lyrically and musically. If there was ever any doubt, it was squashed last night.
